seattle band

Here's a little sketch I just ran across from our last trip to Seattle.

Eric and I wandered into a random coffee shop one night, 

and while we were there, these musicians gradually showed up, 

and then a crowd gradually gathered, and there we were in the 

front seats at a concert. 

the tiny baby doll

i didn't draw this to be creepy. really.
it's just that this little 2-inch long baby doll
is a common sight around my house.
she's become quite endearing, and isn't
always naked. she often sports fabulous outfits,
thanks to my daughter's sense of style.

pecan tart

I had leftover filling from a pecan pie this week &
poured it into a crust in a miniature springform pan.
It worked & tasted delicious!

underbed mess

Eric & I decided to ditch our bed frame this week and
put the mattress in a wooden box that we could (or rather,
he could) push up against the wall.
Voila! Instant sitting room!
It was also nice to get all that junk cleared.
