And thus concludes our wacky adventure.
Thanks for joining me as I have lived out my 2008

for a year!! Thanks for inspiring & motivating me
along the way. Stay tuned for more fun and frivolity in 2009!
And a happy, new year to you!

sprials... oops, spirals

The kids did this today with stocking stuffer
pen tops. Maybe sprials is a good name for them!

our savior's lutheran church

This is the church that has been so kind as to host our
little community of faith the past 2 years, since the local
arts center we were in got demolished. They're starting
a construction process soon, so we'll be leaving in 6 weeks.
I wonder what will happen next! I think 2009 will hold
many wonderful surprises and even some miracles.

fountain

Oh -- and here's the fountain I was talking about.
I do miss the fountain. It was beautiful and generated
a restful soundtrack for the day. Don't miss the mosquitoes, though!

electric switch

Used to power the fountain in our back yard,
but we had trouble with that ol' fountain from
the time we moved in here 'til we finally tore it out.
The switch is still there, though! Merely decorative now.

They were so cute it was a shame to eat them.
But we did.

timer

We're living by the bell lately.
Our current attempts at potty training
have us in the bathroom every 35 minutes.
So meet my new best friend, the timer.

This is an old sketch, but it seems fitting since
we're headed to the zoo tonight.

fluffy

Fluffy is one of the favorite toys around here.
I'm not sure where she came from or what her
original name was, but she shows up all over the
place, as well as in much of the child-generated
artwork. It's funny how you can never pick the
toys your child will get attached to.
I've always been surprised by their favorites.

ballgown puppy

This is the sort of thing that's kept me painting:
I find these wonderful creations around the house
and just have to document them.
This one was a frufy hair tie I picked up today only to discover
that it was in fact an outfit for a teensy puppy.
