It is Tomato Basil Soup, which we get every time we find ourselves in Seattle.

With fresh Parmesan and croutons on top. We walk down the street with our hot soup.
Eric can eat while he walks. I cannot.

happy birthday to me!

Hi again! I am back from vacation and will begin posting the Seattle Trip Chronicles

tomorrow. But for now, today is my birthday! And, while I have thought for several months

(possibly the whole year) that I was already 36, I came to realize this week that I

was actually 35 and this is now my 36th birthday. Weird, huh? So I am turning 36. Again.

This resolves some questions I was beginning to have about the timeline of my life which

were making me think I was crazy. Now I know it's just that my memory's shot.

bronchitis

Our adventures in crime this week took us to the lab for x-rays. Ashton's been feverish and coughing all week, but yesterday she woke up with a severe stomach ache. We were afraid it might be appendicitis, but apparently bronchitis can cause a good bit of abdominal pain. So I'm grateful to have antibiotics in hand and hopefully a cure in sight.
