Well, as I discovered at Melstampz.com, Sakura makes a "Quickie Glue" pen (they sell it at Michael's for $2.50). It writes just like a gel pen, but in glue! So you just draw, write, or trace something with the glue pen, then dump embossing powder onto the wet glue (it stays blue until dried). Shake off the excess powder and heat your creation until the embossing bubbles up. Easy cheese! I did both of these drawings that way and then colored them in with watercolor paints. I think this glue pen idea would be fun with glitter, too!
I love this! So pretty! I love butterflies. Embossing powder is way too fun!
ReplyDeleteYes it is! And now that I've figured out how to emboss with glue, I might start embossing EVERYTHING.
ReplyDeleteReally? How do you emboss with glue?
