Ingrid

I went to Ingrid Michaelson's concert last week at Club Congress.
What a voice! Good times.

Book Illustrations

Today's sketches are a collaborative effort with Ashton & Anna.
We wrote a story together, I drew the pictures, and they
contributed the paint. Here are a couple of sample pages.
We turned it into a book. Maybe I'll get around to posting a link soon.

Notebooks!

For those of you who enjoy a good notebook/journal as much as I do, check out blackcover.com. Who knows? Maybe one of us will win one!

Computer Time

As you can see, I've been looking through old journals.
This is from 2005, when my daughter was just barely four
and still had the curly locks.

Playset

Both of these are from October, 2005.
The top one is a collaboration with the husband --
I love the way he draws!
Second one is mine.

Ballerina

I'm sick today, so here's one from October of 2005,
when Ashton was in ballet.
There's nothing like a gaggle of 4-year-olds in tutus.

Coke Bottle Daisies

Kim & I thought the bottled Coke from Mexico
(pure can sugar -- no corn syrup)
would be the answer to the world's problems
when she found it at Costco last month.
Unfortunately, we're hooked on corn syrup!
Canned Coke is actually less sweet and packs more of a punch.
But the glass bottles make cute vases!
And they recycle well for home-brewed beer...
