Indonesia Snapshot

This is an activity suggested by Dory Kanter in the book Art Escapes.
The snapshot is one taken by a friend of mine who returned to Indonesia for a visit a few years ago after having grown up there as a child. I glued the photo to a page and watercolored out from the edges. January, 2006.

I waited for 4 hours this morning to be seen in Urgent Care.
After the second hour, I decided to do a little study on people's
shoes & feet, since I always have difficulty attaching these to a body.
Also, one can stare at a stranger's feet unnoticed.

Coffee Service For None

I was in a waiting room today that had fresh coffee in a pump pot,
but no cups.

Tall, Slender Woman

I saw this incredibly tall woman today, who looked all the more tall because she was so slender, who looked all the more tall and slender because of the long, fitted outfit she wore.
I think the wedge haircut added to the effect, as well.
